Remember Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer adventures? Travel the Mississippi River north from its confluence from the Gulf of Mexico to it’s origin in Minnesota. In the spring enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and kayaking along the river. Spring is also a time for birdwatching as there are plenty of birds to see in the spring migration.
Special Notes
After this circuit, continue to discover the Great Lakes from a different perspective – Canadian Great Lakes! End this trip in time to follow the Fall Leaf Peeping Circuit back south to winter in Florida. 3 Separate circuits combined to follow 70ish degree weather.
